ChatGPT advertising · Advertise where your client asks their question.
ChatGPT Ads is new, in the Netherlands and Belgium too. We're testing it at full tilt, and happy to do so for you. No promises nobody can keep yet, but an offer, a goal and measurement that are right from day one.
ChatGPT advertising, the way we do it.
We start with what you want to sell and what a sign-up or client is worth to you. Then we set up OpenAI's Ads Manager, put the OpenAI Pixel or the Conversions API in place properly, pick a realistic target and write the ads. Every week we look at what comes in, and what happens after the click. You pay the media budget directly to OpenAI yourself.
For experts and B2B service providers who want to test a new channel before everyone else does, and who understand that a test is a test.
What's included
- Account and Ads Manager set-up
- OpenAI Pixel and Conversions API
- A realistic target: Target CPA or Target CPC
- Ad copy around your offer

What is advertising in ChatGPT?
Advertising in ChatGPT means showing your ads to people who use ChatGPT. You buy them through OpenAI's Ads Manager: you choose a goal, such as clicks or conversions, and a budget, and the system decides what to bid in each auction. In the Netherlands and Belgium you can now open an account yourself.
From 9 November 2026 you set a target cost: Target CPA for conversions, Target CPC for clicks. On 1 January 2027 the old Max Bid and Max CPC settings are switched off. How that works, you can read in our article on Target CPA and Target CPC.
This is how we start in ChatGPT.
Start with your offer
Where should the click lead? A sign-up for your masterclass, a call, a download. Without a clear offer you're mostly testing the platform, not your chance of clients.
Measure before you advertise
The OpenAI Pixel or the Conversions API, and checking that the conversions really come through. Smart bidding is only as smart as the signals it gets.
Pick a target that holds up
A target cost based on what a result really costs you now, not on what you'd like to pay. A target that's too low chokes your reach.
Test small, learn fast
A fixed test budget and a fixed period, with a few variants of your message. Not fiddling with the dials every day.
Count beyond the click
Did the sign-up turn up? Did it become a call? A client? That's what we judge the test on.
New channel, honest story.
ChatGPT Ads in the Netherlands and Belgium
According to OpenAI's own overview, Ads Manager is self-serve in the Netherlands and Belgium. The business that advertises and gets the bill must be based in one of the available countries. Whoever starts now tests in an auction with few advertisers in it yet.
Smart bidding: Target CPA and Target CPC
You no longer set a maximum bid. You say what a conversion or click may cost on average, and the system bids higher or lower in each auction. A target is an average, not a ceiling. That's why we choose it based on real numbers, and don't adjust it every day.
Measurement from day one
Without a working pixel or Conversions API, smart bidding stays blind. We set up the measurement, check that the conversions really come through and resolve warnings in the Event Quality Score. With your visitor's consent, as it should be.
Honest about results
The channel is brand new, so nobody has hard numbers yet. Neither do we. What we do have: we're testing at full tilt, we know how smart bidding works at Meta and Google, and we tell you every week what we see. Even when it disappoints.
Where ChatGPT advertising sits in the recipe.
ChatGPT Ads makes the room rise with people who just asked a question. We steer on who turns up and buys, not on who clicks.
