Stobe sells portable mini projectors, to consumers and to resellers, wholesalers and corporate gift companies. The old Shopify store was outdated: the theme no longer fitted the brand, and every change needed a developer.

How we built the shop for Stobe.
Strategy and design
We took care of the strategy and the design. With one principle at the top: the findability the old store had built up must not be lost in the switch.
Development in Shopify
Hoort rebuilt the theme from the ground up, with Shopify sections and blocks that Stobe drags and adjusts itself. Products, customer data, orders and SEO settings came along to the new store. The theme is linked to GitHub, so every change goes through version control.

The new store is live at stobe.nl. According to Hoort's case, the migration went without losing orders, customers or findability.

SEO value kept
Products, customer data, orders and SEO settings came along to the new store, so the findability Stobe had built up stayed put.

Drag sections yourself
The custom theme is built with Shopify sections and blocks. Stobe adjusts texts, images, buttons and colours itself in the theme editor.

Reviews, payment methods, warranty and delivery time sit right by the button.
