Headless ecommerce website design · An online store with no limits on design.
In a headless store, the commerce engine is separate from the front end your customers see. So you pick the best engine, and design the front end exactly the way your brand needs it.
Headless, in short.
Headless means the backend, with products, stock and payments, talks to a separate front end through an API. We build that front end custom, and the backend can be Shopify or WooCommerce, for example.
Not needed for most starting stores. A headless store takes more build and maintenance than a standard Shopify or WooCommerce store.
Headless suits you if…
- Your brand calls for a design a standard theme can't handle.
- You sell through several channels from one commerce engine.
- Speed and custom features matter more than an off-the-shelf store.
First what you sell. Then the shop.
Even if you already know you want Headless, we start with the goal. That way you know for sure Headless is the right fit.
First what you sell: the strategy
What do you sell, to whom, and how? Products, stock, quotes or subscriptions. Once that is clear, we can set everything up around it.
Branding and design in line
Then we bring your branding and the design of the store in line: from product page to checkout.
Building in Headless
We first choose the commerce engine that fits your products, design the front end, and connect the two through the API.
SEO safeguarded, then live
With every delivery we protect the SEO: product structure, titles, structured data, internal links and, when you switch, the old URLs. So the visibility you already had stays put.

We'll show a case on Headless as soon as it's live. This is what we baked on other platforms, in the same order: first the goal, then the design, then the platform.
